Chicken Briyani

Ingredients:

Chicken - 250 gms
Cloves - 4
Cinnamon - small piece
Green Elaichi - 3
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Green Chilly - 2
Dry Red Chilly - 2
Fennel Seeds - 1 tbsp
Bay leaf - 1
Onion - 1(finely chopped)
Bangalore Tomato - 1 
Mint Leaves - handful
Rice - 1 cup
Water - 2 cups
Curd - 2 tbsp
Salt, Oil - As reqd

Method:
  • Marinate chicken or mutton with salt n curd.
  • Grind cloves,cardamom,cinnamon,ginger garlic paste, green chilly, red chilly and fennel seeds. 
  • In cooker add oil, biriyani leaf, onion and cook till brown.
  • Now add the paste & cook till oil comes out.
  • Then add mint leaves,tomato & marinated chicken.
  • Add salt & water & give one whistle.
  • Add the rice, water and the chkn and give one whistle.
  • Put off the stove. Leave till pressure goes off. Then open and serve.
