Butter Chicken


Ingredients:
  
Chicken - 250 gms
Butter - 2 tbsp
Onion - 5
Tomato - 2 
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Cashews - 10
Poppy seeds- 1 tbsp
Chilly powder - 1-2 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Sugar - 1 tbsp
Cloves - 4
Cinnamon - 1 small piece
Green Elaichi - 4
Kasthuri methi - 1 tbsp

Method:
  •  Grind the following separately - onions, tomatoes, ginger & garlic,cashews and poppy(kasakasa) seeds.
  • In cooker put chicken salt,chilly powder & give one whistle and keep aside. 
  • Heat butter put cloves,cinnamon, elaichi.
  • Add sugar & fry till it becomes brown.
  • Now add onion paste, ginger garlic paste & cook till brown.
  • Add tomato paste, coriander powder, chilly powder.
  • Add one tumbler water & cook till oil oozes out.
  • Then add cashew, poppy seeds paste & then add kasthuri methi.
  • Add cooked chicken and cook for few seconds.
  • Add a spoon of butter and serve.
