Kesar Badam Cookies


Ingredients:

Wheat flour - 1 cup
Unsalted butter - 75 g
Icing sugar - 3/4 cup
Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
Almond esc - 1 tsp
Salt - a pinch
Saffron - a pinch
Milk - 1 tbsp
Badam - 1/2 cup (chopped)

Method:

  • In a bowl add saffron and milk and set aside.
  • In a bowl add butter and sugar and cream well.
  • Add in esc and mix well.
  • Add in saffron milk and mix well.
  • Add in flour and baking powder.
  • Mix well.
  • Add a pinch of salt and shape into a dough.
  • Make small balls and flatten it.
  • In a plate spread chopped badam.
  • Dap the cookie ball in it and place it in a lined baking tray.
  • Bake this in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15-17 mins.
