Cashew Cookies


Ingredients:

Wheat flour - 1 /2 cup
Custard powder - 1/4 cup
Unsalted butter - 50 g
Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup
Baking powder - 1/4 tsp
Vanilla esc - 1 tsp
Cashews - 1/2 cup (chopped)

Method:




  • In a bowl add butter and sugar and cream well.
  • Add in esc and mix well.
  • Add in custard powder, flour and baking powder.
  • Mix well.
  • Add a pinch of salt and shape into a dough.
  • Make small balls and flatten it.
  • In a plate spread chopped cashews.
  • Dap the cookie ball in it and place it in a lined baking tray.
  • Bake this in a preheated oven at 180°C for 12-15 mins.
