Cashew pakoda #1

 

Ingredients:

Cashew - 1/4 cup (broken)
Onion  - 1 (thin slices)
Chilly powder - 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - Little (fine chop)
Fennel powder - 1/4 tsp
Hing - Little
Baking soda - a pinch
Rice flour - 3 tbsp
Besan flour - 1 cup
Ghee - 3 tbsp
Oil, Salt, Water - As reqd

Method:
  • In a bowl add in onions, spice powders, salt.
  • Add in hing, baking soda, curry leaves and mix well.
  • Add in flour and mix it.
  • Now heat ghee in pan and fry the cashews.
  • Add it to the bowl and let is sit for 10 mins.
  • Add water little by little.
  • Make a semi-stiff dough.
  • Heat oil in pan and fry these pakodas.
  • Serve hot.
