Bakery Style Frosting


 

Ingredients:

Unsalted butter - 113 g
Shortening or Dalda - 100 g
Powdered Sugar - 300 g
Corn flour - 1 tbsp
Hot water - 30 ml
Vanilla Esc - 1 tsp

Method:

  • In a bowl add unsalted butter and dalda.
  • Both should be in room temperature.
  • Beat this till fluffy, app 2 mins.
  • Now add corn flour to hot water and mix well.
  • Add this and beat again.
  • Now add in esc and then add sugar little by little.
  • Beat it for 3-4 mins until light and fluffy.
  • This frosting will not be of piping consistency.
  • Can use this to frost cakes, cookies.
