Ingredients:
Dry Red Chilly - 10
Onion - 1 (meidum size)
Small Onion - 12
Garlic pods - 4-5
Tamrind - small piece
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Curry Leaves - A sprig
Salt, Oil, Water - As Reqd
Method:
- Heat oil in pan and add small onion, big onion and garlic.
- Saute this for a while and transfer to a blender.
- Now add little oil and add in red chilly and saute till it turns black.
- Once done, transfer to blender.
- Add in salt, tamrind and little water and blend this to a paste.
- Heat oil in pan and add mustard seeds and curry leaves.
- And then add grinded paste and cook in low flame for 3-4 mins.
- Goes good with idly, dosa and even bread.
