Ingredients:
Vaazhakaai - 2
Small onion - 10-12 (fine chop)
Besan flour - 2 tbsp
Rice flour - 1 tbsp
Poha - 1 tbsp (soak in water for 10 mins)
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/8 tsp
Curry Leaves, coriander leaves - Little (fine chop)
Salt, Oil - As reqd
Method:
Vaazhakaai - 2

Method:
- Pressure cook vazhakaai for 2-3 whistles.
- Once cool peel skin and mash it and set aside.
- Add in besan flour, rice flour and poha(squeeze and add).
- Add in spice powders, curry leaves, onion, coriander leaves and mix well.
- Make vada shapes and set aside.
- Heat oil in pan and fry these vadas.
- Or shallow fry the same.
- Serve with ketchup.
