Irish Soda Bread

B4 baking

Ingredients:

Wheat flour - 1 cup
Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Mixed Herbs - 1 tsp
Buttermilk - 1/2 cup
Olive oil - 1 tbsp
Honey - 1 tbsp
Oats - 1 tbsp

Method:
  • In a bowl add buttermilk and baking soda and mix well.
  • Set this aside for 5 mins(it will bubble up).
  • Add in olive oil, honey and mix well.
  • In a bowl add flour, salt and mixed herbs(italian seasoning) and mix. 
  • Add wet ingredients the flour and mix well.
  • It will be sticky dough.
  • Transfer this to the baking pan and sprinkle oats on top.
  • Bake this in a preheated oven (OTG) at 180 for 20-22 mins.


Note:
You can just make a ball shape and bake the same.
