Yellow Pumpkin Recipe - 3 Versions

Ingredients (for all versions):

  Yellow pumpkin - peel skin and cut into small cubes.
  Mustard, cumin seeds, urad dhal - for temper.
  Red chilly - 3 
  Coconut - grated 2 tbsp
  Sugar - 2 tbsp
  Milk - As reqd.
  Channa Dhal - 2 tbsp
  Curd - 2 tbsp
  Onion - 1



Method 1 (My Version): 


  • Cut pumpkin into cubes boil n keep aside.
  • Heat oil add mustard, cumin seeds, urad dhall & red chilly then pumpkin.
  • Then add salt & grated coconut.
  • This is spice version
  • Sweet version:same as above after tempering add sugar & milk n pinch salt.



Method 2:

  • Heat oil add mustard and urad dhal.
  • Then add onion, green chilly & small cut pieces of pumpkin without skin.
  • Then add salt then sprinkle little water, close cook.
  • At last add little sugar n grated coconut

Method 3:

  • Cook channa dhal then boil pumpkin.
  • Add oil mustard seeds curry leaves dry chilli and onion
  • Then add pumpkin and dhall.
  • Then add salt & turmeric powder
  • Then add three spoon of curd 5 mts remove from stove good for chappathi.
