Coconut Rice





Ingredients:

  Coconut  - 1 cup (grataed)
  Green Chilly - 2 -3
  Cashews / peanuts  - fry and keep aside
  Temper - mustard, cumin and channa dhal
  Salt, Oil - As Reqd.
  Rice - 2 cups (boiled)
  Appalam - 3-4(crushed)

Method:


  • Heat oil and add tempering items.
  • Then add green chilly, coconut, salt.
  • Add rice and mix well and turn off the fire.
  • While serving crush the appalam and add rice.
