Achari Bindi


Ingredients:

Bindi - 8-10 (slit it length wise)
Mango Pickle - 1
Onion - 1 (fine chop)
Curd - 1 tbsp
Oil - As reqd

Method:

  • Heat oil in pan.
  • Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and urad dal.
  • Once it splutters add curry leaves and fine chopped onion.
  • Now add bindi and saute.
  • Add curd and saute.
  • Cook in low flame till bindi looses its stickiness.
  • Now add pickle and cook in low flame for few mins.

Note:
  • As pickle has salt, check and add accordingly.
  • You can do without onion too.
