Ingredients:
Idly rice - 1 cup
Urad dal - 1/2 cup
Fenugreek Seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Small Onion - 10(optional)
Mudakathan Keerai - 2 cups
Salt,Oil,Water -As reqd
Method:
- Soak rice, dal and fenugreek seeds for 2hrs.
- Grind this to dosa batter consistency.
- Wash the keerai and grind it to paste.
- Add this paste and salt to the batter.
- Mix this nicely.
- Heat oil in pan and add cumin seeds and onion.
- Saute for a while and add to batter.
- Now in dosa tawa pour a scoop of batter and make dosas.
- This goes good with coconut/tomato chutney.
Note:
I did'nt add cumin seeds and onion.
