Ingredients:
Badam - 1/2 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Water - 1/2 cup
Ghee - 4 tbsp
Condensed milk - 3 tbsp
Milk - 4 tbsp
Elaichi powder - a pinch(optional)
Safrron Strands - few
Method:
- In a bowl take almonds and add hot water to this and set aside for 10-15mins.
- After that strain and peel off the skin.
- Now grind badam with 2 tbsp of milk.
- In other bowl take 2 tbsp of milk and soak saffron strands in it,
- Heat a pan and add sugar and water and let it boil.
- Once sugar dissolves add the grinded paste.
- Stir continuously and once it is all mixed up, add saffron milk.
- Then add condensed milk, elaichi powder and mix well.
- Keep stirring for 5 mins.
- Then add ghee and mix it up.
- Once it starts to bubble up, turn off the fire.
- Badam halwa ready.
