Ingredients:
Bread Crumbs - 1 cup
Oil - As reqd (for frying)
Milk - 1/4 cup
For Bun:
All Purpose flour - 1 1/4 cup
Dry yeast - 1/2 + 1/4 tsp
Sugar - 1 tbsp
Salt - 1/2 + tsp
Oil - 1 1/2 tbsp
Milk(warm) - 1/2 cup
Stuffing:
Onion - 1 (fine chopped)
Carrot - 1
Beans - 3
Peas - Little
Capsicum - 1
Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tbsp
Soya sauce - 1 tsp
Tomato sauce - 2-3 tbsp
Red Chilly powder - 1 tsp
Garam Masala powder - 1/4 tsp
Sugar - Little(less than 1/2 tsp)
Salt - As reqd
Method:
- In a bowl add yeast and sugar.
- Add warm milk to this and set aside for yeast to be activated.
- In other bowl take flour and salt, add oil to this.
- Once yeast is activated add to flour and mix well.
- Set this dough aside for proofing.
- Heat oil in pan and add onion and saute.
- Add ginger garlic paste and all veggies(fine chop).
- Add salt, sugar, soya sauce, tomato sauce and mix well.
- Then add chilly powder and garam masala powder.
- Cook in low flame till all veggies are cooked.
- Now check the dough, it would have doubled in size.
- Punch it and make small balls out of it.
- Take a ball and press with finger.
- Fill in with stuffing and seal it.
- Dip these balls in milk and then in bread crumbs.
- Do the above step twice.
- Heat oil and fry these.
- Fried Mini buns are ready.
- Add salt acc as soya sauce ha salt.
- Do not refrigerate these balls as it will grow in size.
- You can bake the same.
- Just place these balls in tray and bake in a preheated oven(OTG) at 180°C for 10-13 mins
- After that increase the temperature to 220°C and bake for 4 mins.
