Ingredients:
SenaiKilangu - 8-10
Sambar thool - 2 tbsp
Salt, Water, Oil - As reqd
Method:
- Wash the senaikilangu/pidikarunai and place in a bowl.
- Add water and pressure cook for 1 whistle and set aside.
- Once cool peel the skin and set aside.
- Heat oil in pan for frying.
- Use chips cutter and slice the kilangu and fry in oil.
- Deep fry it.
- Transfer this to a bowl layered with tissue paper.
- After draining out the excess oil, add in salt.
- Add in sambar thool and toss well.
- Senai varuval is ready.
