SenaiKilangu Varuval #1


Ingredients:

SenaiKilangu - 8-10
Sambar thool - 2 tbsp
Salt, Water, Oil - As reqd

Method:
  • Wash the senaikilangu/pidikarunai and place in a bowl.
  • Add water and pressure cook for 1 whistle and set aside.
  • Once cool peel the skin and set aside.
  • Heat oil in pan for frying.
  • Use chips cutter and slice the kilangu and fry in oil.
  • Deep fry it.
  • Transfer this to a bowl layered with tissue paper.
  • After draining out the excess oil, add in salt.
  • Add in sambar thool and toss well.
  • Senai varuval is ready.
