Hummus


Ingredients:
Channa - 1 cup (cooked)
Sesame seeds - 2 tbsp
Cumin powder - 1/4 tsp
Garlic - 3
Lemon juice - 1/2 limes
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Olive oil - 1/4 cup + 1 tsp

Coriander Leaves - 1/4 cup (fine chop)

Method:
  • Soak channa overnight and then pressure cook it.
  • Strain water and set aside.
  • Dry roast sesame seeds(til) and powder it and set aside.
  • Now in a blender add boiled channa.
  • Add cumin powder, sesame seeds powder, garlic and lime juice.
  • Add in salt and 1/4 cup olive oil and blend this to a fine paste.
  • Transfer this to a bowl and add 1/2 tsp of olive.
  • Serve this yummy dip.
Note:

Variation #1:
  • You can add 2 tbsp of jalpenos and coriander leaves while blending.
  • This hummus dip will be spicy one.
