Karuvaepillai Thokku Rice


Ingredients:

Rice - 1 cup
Karuvaepillai thokku - 3 tbsp
Channa dal - 1/2 tsp
Groundnuts - 1 tbsp
Oil, Salt - As reqd

Method:

  • Boil rice and transfer to a plate and spread with a fork.
  • Heat oil in pan and add groundnuts and roast it.
  • Add this to rice.
  • Now add chana dal and roast and add it to rice as well.
  • Add the thokku and mix well.
  • Check for salt and if needed add accordingly.
  • Drizzle a teaspoon of gingely oil and serve the yummy rice.
