Ingredients:
Idly rice - 1 cup
Urad dal - 1/4 cup
Flattened Poha - 1 cup
Thick Curd - 3/4 cup
Salt, Water - As reqd
Method:
- Soak rice and dal for 3-4 hours.
- Drain water and aside.
- Add salt and grind to smooth paste by adding required water.
- Now transfer this to a bowl.
- In same blender add poha and curd and blend it.
- Add this to batter and mix well.
- Set this aside to ferment for 6-8 hrs.
- Heat dosa tawa and pour a laddle of batter(don't spread thin).
- Cover and cook in low flame.
- Serve poha dosa with sambar or chutney.
Note:
- To have instant poha batter add 1/4 tsp of baking soda after blending.
- Mix well and make dosa.
- We had dosa with DrumstickBrinjal Sambar.
