Atukula Dosa / Poha Dosa



Ingredients:

Idly rice - 1 cup
Urad dal - 1/4 cup
Flattened Poha - 1 cup
Thick Curd - 3/4 cup
Salt, Water - As reqd

Method:

  • Soak rice and dal for 3-4 hours.
  • Drain water and aside.
  • Add salt and grind to smooth paste by adding required water.
  • Now transfer this to a bowl.
  • In same blender add poha and curd and blend it.
  • Add this to batter and mix well.
  • Set this aside to ferment for 6-8 hrs.
  • Heat dosa tawa and pour a laddle of batter(don't spread thin).
  • Cover and cook in low flame.
  • Serve poha dosa with sambar or chutney.

Note:
  • To have instant poha batter add 1/4 tsp of baking soda after blending.
  • Mix well and make dosa.
  • We had dosa with DrumstickBrinjal Sambar.
