Paakarkaai / Bittergourd fry


Ingredients:

Bittergourd - 2
Jaggery - 1 tbsp
Tamrind - small piece
Salt, Water, Oil - As reqd

Method:
  • Slice the bittergourd using chips cutter and set aside.
  • In a bowl add water, add in jaggery and tamrind piece.
  • Add in bittergourd and pressure cook for 1 whistle.
  • Drain the water and set aside.
  • Heat oil in pan and fry these.
  • Add in salt and toss well.
  • Goes good with rice varieties.
