Orange Ginger Cake


Ingredients:

Wheat flour - 1 1/2 cup
Corn flour - 1 tbsp
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
Salt - a pinch
Ginger powder - 1/2 tsp
Brown sugar - 3/4 cup
Orange juice - 1/2 cup
Oil - 1/2 cup
Thick Curd - 3 tbsp
Vanilla esc - 1/2 tsp

Method:




  • In a bowl add sugar and orange juice and whisk well.
  • To this add curd, oil and esc and mix well.
  • Now to this add flour, baking soda and baking powder.
  • Add salt, ginger powder and fold well.
  • Pour the batter in greased cake pan.
  • Bake this in a preheated oven (OTG) at 180°C for 18-20 mins.
  • Yields 8-9 small pieces.
