Muttai / Egg Paniyaaram

Ingredients:

Egg - 3
Dosa batter - 1/2 cup
Onion - 1 (fine chop)
Curry Leaves - 1 sprig (chop)
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Pepper powder - 2 tsp
Garam masala - a pinch
Salt - 1/8 tsp
Oil - As reqd

Method:

  • In a bowl beat the eggs.
  • Add pepper powder, garam masala and salt and mix well.
  • To this add dosa batter.
  • Heat oil in pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds.
  • Add curry leaves and onion and saute well.
  • Add this to egg dosa batter and mix well.
  • Heat paniyaaram kadai and add oil in each cup.
  • Add the batter and cook in low flame.
  • Flip and cook for even cooking.
  • Serve the hot egg paniyaaram.
