Kati Roll

Ingredients:

Chicken - 4-5pieces (Boneless sliced)
Egg - 1
Chapathi - 1
Onion - 1 (sliced)
Tomato - 1 (sliced)
Ginger - 2 tsp(finely chopped)
Garlic - 8 pods(finely chopped)
Green Chilly - 1(finely chopped)
Chat Masala - 2 tsp
Garam Masala - 2 tsp
Red Chilly powder - 1 tsp
Cumin powder - 2 tsp
Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves - Little
Salt, Oil - As Reqd.

Method:


  • In a bowl take the egg and add salt and pepper to it and whisk well.
  • In a pan add oil and cook chapati and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in tawa and make  omlette and place the chapati on it and cook it and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in pan and add chopped garlic and ginger and saute for a while.
  • Then add onion and tomato and saute.
  • Now add the chat,garam masala and red chilly and cumin powder and saute.
  • Then add the chicken pieces and required salt.
  • Finally add chillies and give a stir.
  • Now take the chapathi and place masala and garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Roll it and serve.


Note:
You can apply Mint chutney before placing masala.

Rajma Tortillas



Ingredients :

Rajma - 1 cup
Capsicum - 1 each(red, green, yellow)
Onion - 1 (optional, finely chopped)
Chat - 1 tsp
Chilly Powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Bread crumbs - 2 tbsp

Tortilla :

Wheat flour - 2 cup
All purpose flour - 1 cup
Water - 1 1/4 cup
Salt - As reqd

Method:

  • Make the tortilla dough.
  • Knead the dough and make thin tortillas.
  • Heat the pan and apply oil and cook the tortillas.
  • Soak rajma overnight and pressure cook(10-12 whistles).
  • In a bowl add the capsicums, onion and rajma.
  • Mash all these and mix well (if needed grind and add rajma).
  • Now add the masala powders and salt  and mix well.
  • Add bread crumbs and mix well.
  • Heat oil in pan and add this and cook for few minutes.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Now take a tortilla and place a spoon of this mix and roll it.
  • Serve this with tomato sauce.


Note:

  • Instead of chilly powder you can use jalapenos.
  • Also you can add finely chopped black olives.
  • For Stuffing too you can make patties and fry it and keep it as stuffing.
  • In that case make patties roll in bread crumbs and dust in maida before frying.

Lamingtons #1









Ingredients:

All purpose flour - 1 cup
Powdered Sugar - 1/4 cup
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Baking soda - 1/4 tsp
Salt - a pinch
Unsalted Butter - 70 g
Caster sugar - 1 cup
Egg - 1
Vanilla esc - 1 tsp
Milk - 1/2 cup
Desiccated coconut - 1 cup

Chocolate Dip:
Icing sugar - 1 1/2 cup
Cocoa Powder - 2 tbsp
Unsalted Butter - 1 tbsp
Water - 1/4 cup

Method:
  • In a bowl mix flour and baking powder,baking soda,salt and keep aside.
  • In other bowl cream softened butter and sugar.
  • Then add egg and esc and mix well.
  • Now add a portion of flour mix to this and some milk and fold well.
  • Add the remaining flour and milk and fold well
  • Grease a pan with butter and dust with flour.
  • Invert and dap to remove excess flour.
  • Pour in the batter.
  • Bake this in a preheated oven (OTG) at 180 °C and for 20-25 mins.
  • Let it cool and then cut into desired shapes.
  • Take water in microwave safe bowl.
  • Add in butter and microwave high for 30 sec(butter should be melted).
  • In a bowl mix icing sugar and cocoa powder.
  • Add melted stuff to this and mix well(batter should be smooth).
  • Now take the baked piece dip in sauce.
  • And then roll in desiccated coconut.
  • Serve the aussie special Lamingtons.

Crispy Dal

Ingredients:

Green gram - 1 cup
Hing  - A pinch
Red Chilly powder - 2 tbsp
Cumin Powder - 1 tbsp
Amchur powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Green chilly - 1-2
Bread Crumbs - 3-4 tbsp
Salt, Oil - As reqd

Method:

  • Heat oil in a pan and add hing.
  • Then add boiled green gram and saute.
  • Then add green chilly and all masala powders.
  • Let it cool.
  • Add bread crumbs to this and grind it.
  • Make desired shapes and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in pan and fry these.
  • Serve this crispy dal with tamarind sauce or mint sauce.

Chicken ChocoSticks

Ingredients:

Chicken - 250 g(half boil)
Chilly-1
Onion- 2
Curry leaves- Little
Cashew- 2 tsp
Corn flour - 2 tsp
Egg - 1
Milk- 50 ml
Ginger garlic paste -1 tsp
White pepper - 1/4 tsp
Black pepper - 1/4 tsp
Fennel powder - 1/4 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt, oil - As reqd

Chocolate sauce:

Butter - 3 tsp
Sugar - 3 tsp
Tomato sauce - 3 tsp
Cocoa powder - 2 tsp

Method:
  • In a bowl add onion, curry leaves, cashew, corn flour, egg, milk and ginger garlic paste and mix well.
  • Then add required salt and masala powders.
  • Grind this mixture and chicken to it,
  • Make chocobar shaped patties.
  • Heat oil in pan and deep fry it and keep aside.
  • Heat a pan add butter and then sugar and saute for a while.
  •  Add tomato sauce and mix well.
  • Add cocoa powder and mix well.
  • Add the fried pieces to this and toss it.
  • Remove from pan and insert pop sticks to it.
  • You can serve this hot or refrigerate and can serve chill.

Veg Croquettes

Ingredients:

Potato - 1 cup
Onion - 3 tbsp
Green capsicum-3 tbsp
Carrot - 3tbsp (grated and roasted).
Green beans - 1/2 cup
Red capsicum - 3 tbsp
Jelapeos or Red chilly powder or chilly flakes - 2tbsp
Bread crumbs - 2 tbsp
Salt, Oil - As required.

Method:
  • Grate and boil potato and keep aside.
  • Roast finely chopped onion, beans and add to it.
  • Now roast the grated carrot, capsicums and add to it.
  • Mix well and add salt and chilly powder.
  • Do add bread crumbs and mix well.
  • Make small balls and place small cheese cube inside each ball.
  • Roll in bread crumbs and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in pan and fry these balls.
  • Serve with tomato sauce or mustard sauce.
Note:

You can add minced soya chunks or chicken to this.

Bindhi Igru

Ingredients:

Ladies Finger - 10-15
Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
Tomato - 1 (finely chopped)
Coconut - 2 tbsp
Cashews - 6 -8
Cloves-1
Cinamon stick - 2 small pieces
Green elachi - 1
Mustard seeds - 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 1/2 tbsp
Chilly powder - 1 1/4 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1/4 tbsp
Salt, Oil - As reqd

Method:


  • Heat oil in pan and fry the ladies finger and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in pan and add cloves, cinnamon,elachi and saute.
  • Then add curry leaves and mustard seeds.
  • Add onion and fry till it is dark. 
  • Then add ginger garlic paste and cook till raw smell goes.
  • Now add tomato and saute nicely.
  • Then add all powders and little water and let it boil.
  • Grind cashews and coconut and make a paste.
  • Add this to the gravy and let it boil.
  • Once it reduces add salt and cook for 4-5 mins.
  • Finally add fried ladies finger and give a stir.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and server hot. 

Note:

This original Andhra dish is done using prawns.

Bhutta Kebab


Ingredients:

Sweet Corn Kernels - 1 Corns
Potato - 2 (boiled)
Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Chat Masala - 1 tsp
Garam Masala - 1tsp
Chilly powder - 1 tbsp
Cumin powder - 1tbsp
Bread Crumbs - 1 cup
All purpose flour - 2-3 tbsp

Method:
  • In a bowl add corns, onion, ginger garlic paste, all masala powders and blend nicely.
  • Collect the blended mixture in a bowl and add boiled potato to it and mix well.
  • Add required salt to it and mix well.
  • Also add 2 tbsp of bread crumbs to this and mix well.
  • Make desired shapes and roll it in bread crumbs and dust in flour. 
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry these and serve the kebab with sauce.

Meen Puttu


Ingredients:

Fish - 2-3 pieces(I used Vanjiram)
Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
Tomato - 1(finely chopped)
Curry Leaves - little
Egg - 1
Green Chilly - 2 (finely chopped)
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Chilly powder - 1-2 tbsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Salt,Oil, water - As reqd

Method:

  • Boil water in a pan and add the fish pieces.
  • Let it boil for 10 mins.
  • After boiling peel the skin and remove the bones from it.
  • Now scramble the pieces and place aside.
  • In a bowl take the scarmbled fishes and add salt and masala powders.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add onion, tomato, curry leaves and saute nicely.
  • Then add egg and saute nicely.
  • Now add the fish mixture and give a quick stir.
  • Serve hot.

Pav Pasta

Ingredients:

Butter - 2tbsp
Oil- 2 tbsp
Ginger - small piece(finely chopped)
Garlic - 10 pods(finely chopped)
Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
Tomato sauce - 2 tbsp
PavMasala - 2 tbsp
Chilly flakes - 1 tsp
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Pasta - 1 cup(boiled)
Red,green ,yellow capsicums - 1 cup(finely chopped)
Cheese - 2 -3 tbsp(grated)
Salt - As reqd.

Method:
  • Heat butter and oil in a pan.
  • Add ginger,garlic and onion and saute for a while.
  • Then add tomato sauce and saute.
  • Add the masala powders and chilly flakes and give a stir,
  • Add the required salt and boiled pasta and mix it well and leave for 2 mins,
  • Now grease a pan and add this mixture.
  • Then on top layer with colored capsicums.
  • Then grate cheese on top and put butter here and there.
  • Sprinkle paav masala and microwave till cheese melts.

Hot Milk Cake #1


Ingredients:
All purpose flour - 1 cup
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Granulated sugar - 1 cup
Eggs - 2
Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
Milk - 1/2 cup
Unsalted butter - 2 tbsp

Method:



  • Whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt. Keep aside. 
  • Heat milk and butter until the butter melts. Keep aside but keep it hot. 
  • Beat with an electric mixer or whisk, the sugar, vanilla and eggs until light and fluffy (about triple in volume).
  • Whisk in the flour mixture. Whisk in the hot milk-butter mixture.
  • Grease and butter well a 7 inch round pan.
  • Line the bottom with parchment (optional). 
  • Pour batter into prepared pan.
  • Preheat oven to 180 °C and bake for 30-35 mins.
  • The top will be browned and edges will come away from the pan.
  • Cool in pan for 5 minutes and then carefully invert out, remove parchment and cool right side up on a wire rack.
Note:
Can do the same cake with wheat flour too.

Honey Cake




Ingredients:

All purpose flour - 1 1/4 cup
Baking powder-1 tsp
Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
Orange juice- 1/2 cup
Oil - 1/2 cup
Vanilla esc - 1 tsp
Powdered Sugar - 3 tbsp
Condensed Milk - 3/4 cup
Lemon juice -1 tsp
Orange Zest - 1/2 tsp
Desiccated coconut- 1/2 cup

Sauce:
Mixed fruit jam - 4 tbsp
Powdered sugar - 1 tsp

Syrup:
Water - 1/2 cup
Sugar - 2 tbsp
Honey - 1/4 cup

Method:
  • In a bowl mix flour, baking powder and baking soda.
  • Then in other bowl add orange juice, oil and vanilla esc and mix well.
  • Then add sugar, condensed milk, lime juice and orange zest and mix well.
  • Add flour mix to this and mix well.
  • Grease a pan and pour this batter.
  • Preheat oven at 180 °C and bake for 30mins.
  • Let this cool.
  • Heat a pan and add jam and sugar and stir to make a sauce.
  • In other bowl heat water and add sugar and boil till sugar melts.
  • Bring it to cool and then add honey and mix well and keep this syrup aside.
  • Now place the cake and apply the syrup generously all over.
  • Then apply the sauce all over and sprinkle desiccated coconut.
  • Cut into desired shapes and serve.

Dhuvadhasi Sambar

துவாதசி சாம்பாருக்கு தேவையானவை :

    காய்: கடலை, மொச்சை, அவரை, அவுத்திக்கீரை, சுண்டைக்காய், நெல்லிக்காய், மாங்காய், பிடிக்கருணை, புடலை, கொத்தவரங்காய். பாகற்காய், வெள்ளை பூசணி, சிவப்பு பூசணி, வாழைப்பூ, வாழைத்தண்டு, சேனைக்கிழங்கு, சக்கரவல்லி கிழங்கு.

     பாசிப்பருப்பு - 1 1/4  cup or as reqd
     Green chilly - 2
     Tomato - 1 1/2
     Tamrind water -  Little
     Sambar thool - 2-3 tbsp
     Mustard seeds - 1tsp
     Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
     Curry leaves - a sprig
     Salt, oil, water - As reqd



Method:

Pressure cook veggies for 1 whistle and set aside.
Boil dal and mash it.
Heat oil in pan and add in mustard seeds,cumin seeds.
Add in curry leaves, cook in low flame.
Add in tomato and chilly and saute.
Or you can add tomatoes and chilly while boiling dal and mashed them.
And in boiled veggies, tamrind water, salt.
Add in sambar thool and cook in low flame.
Garnish with coriander leaves.

Vanjiram Milagu Varuval

Ingredients:

Vanjiram Fish -3 piece
Green chilly - 5 No.
Pepper corns- 1 tbsp
Cumin powder - 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tbsp
Chilly powder -1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Fennel seed powder - 1/2tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Lemon juice - 1 limes
Curry leaves, corriander leaves - finely chopped
Salt, water, oil - As Reqd

Method:

  • In a bowl add finely chopped corrianderleaves, blended green chilly.
  • Then add pepper corns, cumin, turmeric and fennel powder.
  • Mix well and add ginger garlic paste.
  • Add salt,lime juice and add finely chopped curry leaves.
  • Again blend all these coarsely.
  • Collect this in a bowl.
  • In other bowl take chilly powder, gingergarlic paste and corainder powder and little water.
  • Place the fishes over it and add the blended mix and leave the marination for 1/2 an hour.
  • Heat oil in pan and grill these pieces and serve hot.

Choco Lava Cake

Ingredients:

All purpose flour - 1 cup
Cocoa powder - 1/4 cup
Baking powder - 1/4tsp
Curd - 1 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
Dark Chocolate chips - 1 cup
Butter (unsalted) - 100 g

Method:
  • In a bowl add flour, cocoa powder and baking powder and mx well.
  • In other bowl add butter and chocolate and melt and keep (use microwave or double boil method)
  • in other bowl take curd and add sugar to it and mix well.
  • Then add flour mix and mix well.
  • Finally add melted chocolate and butter mix ad mix nicely.
  • Grease the cupcake pan and add batter on each cups.
  • Preheat oven at 200 °C and bake for 6-8 mins.
  • Dust icing sugar on top and serve.

Blackforest Cake #1



Ingredients:

All purpose flour - 1 cup
Cocoa powder - 1/4 cup
Baking powder - 1/4tsp
Butter milk - 1 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
Vanilla esc - 1tsp
Olive oil - 1/4 cup
Cherry juice - 3-5  tbsp
Whipped cream - 1 cup
Chocolate chips - 1 cup
Cherries- 10 no.

Method:
  • In a bowl add all purpose flour, cocoa, baking powder and mix well.
  • In other bowl add butter milk, sugar, baking soda and mix well and leave it for 4-5mins.
  • Once you find bubbles in it add vanilla esc,flour mix and olive oil and mix nicely.
  • Grease the pan with butter and add the batter.
  • Preheat the oven at 180 degrees and bake for 20 mins.
  • Make two such layers. Let it cool.
  • Now take a layer and dap it with cherry juice and then give a layer using whipped cream.
  • Place the second layer and repeat the same.
  • Cover the entire cake with cream and sprinkle chocolate chips and decorate using cherries.


Hidden Treat Muffins

Ingredients:

Butter - 110 g
Caster sugar - 110 g
Eggs - 2
Vanilla Extract - 1 tsp
All purpose flour - 110g
Baking powder - 1/4 tsp
Milk - 30 ml
Glaze Strawberries - 10-15(chopped)

Method:
  • In a bowl blend butter and caster sugar.
  • Add eggs one by one and blend.
  • Then add vanilla extract, 1 spoon of flour and blend (we add this way to avoid curdles)
  • Then add baking powder and flour mix and blend.
  • Add milk to it and make the batter ready.
  • Add the mashed glaze berries to piping bag.
  • Now add the batter to the liners and fill in center the strawberry sauce.
  • Preheat oven at 150-160 °C and bake for 25-30 mins.

Note:

Instead of strawberries you can use chocolate chips or any fruit.

Snow Crunchies



Ingredients:

All purpose flour - 1 cup
Baking powder - 1 tsp
White butter - 150g
Sugar - 1 1/2 cup
Vanilla esc - 1 tsp
Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
Corn Flakes - 1 cup (crusrh and keep aside)

Method:
  • In a bowl add the flour and baking powder and mix well.
  • In other bowl add butter and sugar and blend till creamy.
  • Then add venilla esc and extract and blend nicely.
  • Add the flour mixture to this and use cut and fold method mix well.
  • Make small balls from this dough.
  • Dust it in corn flakes mix and arrange in greased baking tray.
  • Preheat oven(OTG) at 180 °C and bake for 10-15mins.
  • Snow Crunchies ready.
Note:
I did'nt have white butter when I made this so used regular one.

Short bread cookies

Ingredients:

All purpose flour - 1 cup
White butter - 25g
Castor Sugar - 1 cup
Salt - a pinch
Cherries - 10 finely chopped

Method:
  • In a bowl add all purpose flour, butter and blend well.
  • Then add sugar and salt and mix.
  • Add cheeries to this and make a dough.
  • Then knead the dough and cut to 1 inch cubes.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  • Arrange the cubes in baking tray and bake for 15-20 mins.
  • Insert toothpick and serve the cookies.

Cookie Brownie

Ingredients:

Unsalted Butter - 82.5g
Dark chocolate - 100g
Eggs - 2
Brown sugar - 125g
All purpose flour - 40g
Cocoa powder - 25-35g
Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
Cookies - 4-5

Method:
  • In a bowl add butter and dark chocolate and microwave and keep aside,
  • In other bowl add brown sugar and eggs and blend well.
  • Then add the melted content and mix well.
  • Add flour, cocoa, venilla extract and belnd nicely.
  • Take a pan greese it with butter and add this mixture.
  • On top break cookies and insert here and there.
  • Preheat oven at 160 °C and bake for 25-30 mins.
  • Yummy cookie brownies ready.


Zebra Cake



Ingredients:

All purpose flour - 3 cup
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Baking powder - 2 tsp
Butter - 200g
Sugar - 1 cup
Eggs - 4
Vanilla esc - 1 tsp
Milk - 1 cup
Cocoa powder - 3tbsp
Sugar - 1 tbsp
Milk - 1/4 cup

Method:
  • In a bowl add all purpose flour, salt and baking powder and mix well.
  • Then in a bowl add butter and sugar and blend nicely.
  • Then add eggs and blend nicely then add venilla esc.
  • Add the flour mixture to it and milk alternatively and blend nicely.
  • In other bowl take coco powder, sugar and milk and whisk well.
  • To this add 2 cups of batter and mix well.
  • Take a pan and grease it with butter.
  • Add a table spoon of  white batter and on top one spoon of coco batter.
  • Repeat this continuously and fill the pan.
  • Preheat the oven at 180 °C and bake for 20-25mins.
  • Zebra cake is ready.

No Bake CheeseCake




Ingredients:

Hung Curd - 1 cup
Milkmaid - 60-70g
Gelatin - 10g(add water and microwave and keep aside)
Digestive biscutis - 200g(crush and keep)
Unsalted butter - 2-3 tbsp
Whipped Cream - 4 tbsp
Any Fruit jam - 2tbsp (mix in hot water and keep)
Sprinklers - 2 tbsp

Method:
  • Take a baking  pan and greese with butter.
  • Add the crushed biscuit and butter mixture and press it firmly.
  • Refrigerate this for 15-20 mins to set.
  • In other bowl add the whipped crean, milkmaid and gelatin and blend nicely.
  • Add this to piping bag and squeeze on top of biscuit base.
  • Refrigerate this for 5-6 hours.
  • Then glaze with jam and serve the cheesecake.
  • You can also decorate with strawberries or sprinklers.
  • Instead of biscuit base you can use mysore pak or mothichur(orange ladoo).

Karaikudi NaatuKozhi Kuzhambu





Ingredients:
Naatu Kozhi - 1 kg
Small Onion - 10-15 (finely chopped)
Tomato - 2 (finely chopped)
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Fennel seeds - 2 tsp
Bay leaf - 1
Star Anise - 1
Dry Red Chilly - 3
Cloves - 2
Cinnamon stick - small piece
Green chilly -2
Red Chilly powder - 2 1/2 tbsp
Corriander powder - 2 1/2 tbsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Fennel powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves - Little
Salt, oil - As reqd

Special Paste:

Coconut - 2 tbsp
Groundnut - 1 tbsp
Pottukatdalai - 1 tsp
Poppy seeds - 1/2 tsp(soak in water).


Method:
  • Add turmeric powder.little salt and required water.
  •  Pressure cook for 3-4 whistles and keep aside.
  • Grind the items under special paste .
  • Heat oil in pan and add cloves, cinamon, bay leaf, fennel seeds and star anise.
  • Then add red chilly, green chilly and onion and saute for a while.
  • Now add tomato, ginger garlic paste and all masala powder one by one and saute till raw smell goes.
  • Add chicken stock and let it boil.
  • Now add the chicken pieces and let it boil
  • Add the coconut paste and give a stir.
  • Let  it boil. Add water if needed.
  • Add salt accordingly as boiled chicken also has salt.
  • Let it boil for few minutes. 
  • Sprinkle corriander leaves and little pepper powder.
  • Serve the hot naatu kozhi kolambu.
Note:

  • Tried the same gravy in clay pot, it was even more tastier.
  • I tried the same with regular chicken too.


Kari Meen Polichadhu





Ingredients:

Fish - 1 full fish (I used vanjiram)
Turmeric powder -  1tbsp
Chilly powder - 1tbsp
Pepper powder - 1tbsp
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
Lime juice - 1 limes juice
Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tss
Small Onion - 10 -15 (finely chopped)
Big onion - 1 (finely chopped)
Green chilly - 2
Tomato -1 (finely chopped)
Curry leaves - little
Cashew - 5 (optional)
Tamrind water - Little (2 tbsp)
Coconut Milk - 1/2 cup(thick)
Salt, Oil - As reqd.
Banana leaf - For Steaming

Method:
  • Marinate fish with turmeric powder, chilly powder and pepper powder (1/2 tbsp each).
  • Also add gingergarlic paste (1 tbsp), little salt, lime juice and oil.
  • Leave this aside for 1/2 an hour or refrigerate for 15mins and bring to room temperature.
  • Add a tsp of oil in pan and fry this fish and place aside,
  • Now in a pan, heat oil.
  • Add fenugreek, cumin seeds and then curry leaves. Let it splutter.
  • Then add small onion, ginger garlic paset and green chilly and saute for a while.
  • Then add turmeric powder, and then big onion and saute.
  • Squeeze and add tomatoes and saute till it blends well.
  • Then add chilly powder, pepper powder, cashew, lime juice, tamrind water, salt.
  • Mix well and add water if needed. Then add coconut milk and let it boil till the gravy becomes little thick.
  • Now take a bananaleaf, place this masala and on top of it place the fried fish and again this masala. sprinkle little pepper powder, lime juice and fold the leaf.
  • In a tawa steam this for 3 mins and serve this kari meen polichadhu.
Note: To get exact taste use coconut oil. I used regular oil
