Modhagam

Ingredients:
  Idiyappam flour - 1 cup
  Water -
  Milk - Little
  Salt - Little   
  For Pooranam:

  Coconut - 1 cup (grated)
  Jaggery - 1 cup
  Cashew - 10 pieces (finely chopped)
  Elaichi powder - pinch
  Ghee - As reqd

Method:
  • Heat a pan and add ghee.
  • Add coconut and saute for while.
  • Then add jaggery and fried cashews.
  • Saute in medium range.
  • Add elaichi powder and mix well.
  • Bring to room temperature.
  • Make Flour dough and keep aside.
  • Make mothagam shapes and stuff it with pooranam.
  • Now pressure cook this (steam) and serve it.
