Ingredients:
Idiyappam flour - 1 cup
Water -
Milk - Little
Salt - Little
For Pooranam:
Coconut - 1 cup (grated)
Jaggery - 1 cup
Cashew - 10 pieces (finely chopped)
Elaichi powder - pinch
Ghee - As reqd
Method:
Idiyappam flour - 1 cup

For Pooranam:
Coconut - 1 cup (grated)
Jaggery - 1 cup
Cashew - 10 pieces (finely chopped)
Elaichi powder - pinch
Ghee - As reqd
Method:
- Heat a pan and add ghee.
- Add coconut and saute for while.
- Then add jaggery and fried cashews.
- Saute in medium range.
- Add elaichi powder and mix well.
- Bring to room temperature.
- Make Flour dough and keep aside.
- Make mothagam shapes and stuff it with pooranam.
- Now pressure cook this (steam) and serve it.
