Paneer Tikka



Ingredients:

  Paneer - 250 gms
  Capsicum - 1 (diced)
  Onion - 1 (diced)
  Tomato - 1 (deseed and dice)
  Dried Kasoori Methi leaves - 1 tbsp
  Red Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  Kashmiri Chilly powder - 1 tsp
  Ginger Garlic paste - 1/2 tsp + little more
  Lime Juice - 1/2 tsp
  Garam Masala - 1/4 tsp
  Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp
  Hung curd -  4-5 tbsp
  Salt, Oil - As reqd

Method:
  • Take a cup of curd a pour it in muslin cloth and hang it for an hour.
  • Collect the hung curd in a bowl.
  • Cut paneer into cubes.
  • In a bowl add paneer cubes, diced onion and tomato.
  • Add curd, salt and other ingredients.
  • Crush and add methi leaves to this.
  • Keep this aside for 3 hours.
Tawa Tikka:
  •     Now heat oil in pan and saute onion and capsicum and keep aside.
  •     Then fry paneer and arrange this in skewers and serve.
Oven/Microwave:
  • Preheat oven to 200°C and grill for 10-15 mins.
  • After every 5 mins flip sides and grill it.
  • You can brush butter or oil before grilling.
