MiniBaquette Bread

Baked Bread 
After 2nd Proofing



Shaped to logs

After 1st proofing

Dough
Ingredients:

Wheat flour - 1 cup
Sugar - 1/2 tbsp
Olive oil - 1 tbsp
Dry yeast - 1/4 tbsp
Warm water - 1/2 cup + as needed
Sesame Seeds - 1 tbsp
Salt - As reqd

Method:


  • In a bowl add sugar, yeast and warm water and set aside.
  • In other bowl add in flour and salt and mix well.
  • Add in the activated yeast mix and form a dough.
  • Place this in a greased bowl for proofing.
  • Once done, punch the dough and then divide it.
  • Make two logs and place this in a greased and lined baking tray.
  • Set aside for 30 mins for second proofing.
  • Once it is done, make indentations using knife.
  • Brush the top with and sprinkle sesame seeds.
  • Bake this in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20-28 mins.
  • I used this and made cheesy sandwich.
