Chole Masala



Ingredients:
Channa - 1/2 cup
Onion - 1 
Tomato - 2
Green Chilly - 2
Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tbsp
Chole Masala - 2 tbsp
Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Amchur powder - 1 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/4 tsp
Coriander Leaves - Little

Method:
  • Soak channa overnight or for min 7 hours.
  • Add water, salt and pressure cook for 5 whistles.
  • Heat oil in pan and add ginger garlic paste.
  • Blend onion and tomato coarsely and add it pan.
  • Add in slit green chilly.
  • Add in chole masala, chilly pwoder, turmeric powder and mix well.
  • Add in boiled channa with stock.
  • Add in water(if needed) and check for salt and add accordingly.
  • Cover and cook for few minutes.
  • Now add in amchur powder and garam masala.
  • Let this boil for 2 mins.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with roti/poori.
