Ingredients:
Channa - 1/2 cup
Onion - 1
Tomato - 2
Green Chilly - 2
Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tbsp
Chole Masala - 2 tbsp
Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Amchur powder - 1 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/4 tsp
Coriander Leaves - Little
Method:
- Soak channa overnight or for min 7 hours.
- Add water, salt and pressure cook for 5 whistles.
- Heat oil in pan and add ginger garlic paste.
- Blend onion and tomato coarsely and add it pan.
- Add in slit green chilly.
- Add in chole masala, chilly pwoder, turmeric powder and mix well.
- Add in boiled channa with stock.
- Add in water(if needed) and check for salt and add accordingly.
- Cover and cook for few minutes.
- Now add in amchur powder and garam masala.
- Let this boil for 2 mins.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with roti/poori.
