Butterscotch Walnut Cake


Ingredients:

Wheat flour - 1 cup
Sugar - 3/4 cup
Butter - 2 tbsp
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Hot Milk - 1/2 cup
Egg - 2
Walnuts - 1/4 cup (chopped)
Butterscotch chips - 1/4 cup (add a tsp of flour & toss and keep)
Vanilla esc -  1tsp
Honey - 1 tsp

Method:
  • Seive the dry ingredients - flour, baking powder and set aside.
  • In other bowl add egg and beat it.
  • Add in sugar, esc and honey and whisk well.
  • Add butter to hot milk and mix.
  • Then add the egg mix and then dry ingrdients and fold well.
  • Add in chopped walnuts and butterscotch chips and fold.
  • Pour this in greased pan(fill half of pan).
  • Top with dew walnuts and butterscotch chips.
  • Bake this in a preheated oven (OTG) at 180°C for 25-30 mins.
Note:
I made mini loaf and used rest of batter and made cupcakes.
