Masala Cashews

 

Ingredients:

Broken cashews - 1 cup
Ghee - 3 tbsp
Red Chilly powder - 1/4 tsp
Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam Masala - a pinch
Curry Leaves - a sprig
Salt - As reqd

Method:

  • Heat ghee in pan and fry cashews and set aside.
  • Don't brown them.
  • Now to the same pan add in curry leaves and fry.
  • Transfer to plate.
  • Use tissue paper to remove excess ghee.
  • Now in a bowl add in fried cashews.
  • Add in spice powders and salt.
  • Crush and add fried curry leaves.
  • Toss them well.
  • Enjoy.

Note:

  • To make them more spicier.
  • Do as mentioned above, but repeat adding spice powders after an hour again.
  • Repeat twice, add and toss and enjoy spicier version.
