Coconut Thuvayal #2



Ingredients:

Coconut - 1/2 cup
Dry Red chilly - 2-3
Urad dal - 1 tbsp
Tamrind - small piece(cherry size)
Ginger - small piece
Curry Leaves - 2 sprigs
Msutard seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Dry red Chilly - 1 (break and deseed)
Curry Leaves -  a sprig
Salt, oil, water - As reqd

Method:
  • Dry roast red chilly, urad dal.
  • Grind all ingredients to a fine paste.
  • Heat oil and add tempering items,
  • Add it to grinded paste.
  • Goes good with rice, idly/dosa.
