Ingredients:
KarunaiKaelangu - 1 (medium size)
Sambar thool - 2 tbsp
Turmeric - 1 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Curry Leaves - A sprig
Oil,Water, Salt - As reqd
Method:
KarunaiKaelangu - 1 (medium size)
Sambar thool - 2 tbsp
Turmeric - 1 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Curry Leaves - A sprig
Oil,Water, Salt - As reqd
Method:
- Peel the skin and cut into cubes.
- Wash this nicely.
- Add water, salt and turmeric powder to this.
- Pressure cook for 1 whistle.
- Once boiled strain and set aside.
- Heat oil in pan and add mustard, cumin seeds.
- Add in curry leaves and sambar thool.
- Add boiled Karunaikaelangu and mix well.
- Cook in medium flame till it is roasted.
