Patta Avarai - 10-15
Onion - 1 (medium, fine chop)
Sambar thool - 1 tbsp
Milk - 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Curry Leaves - A sprig
Salt, Water, Oil - As reqd
Method:
- Peel the nerve and fine chop avarai.
- In a bowl add water and the chopped avarai.
- Add required salt and let it boil.
- Once boiled strain and set aside.
- In a pan heat oil and add mustard, cumin seeds.
- Add in curry leaves and onion and saute.
- Add in boiled avarai and milk and saute for a while.
- Add in sambar thool and satute.
- Cook in medium flame for 3-4 mins.
