Osmania Biscuits

Ingredients:

All purpose flour - 1 3/4 cup
Powdered sugar - 3/4 cup
Butter - 1/2 cup (120 g)
Milk -4 tbsp
Custard powder - 2 tsp
Milk powder - 2 tsp
Cardamon powder - a pinch
Baking powder - 1/4 tsp
Saffron strands - Little

Method:
  • In bowl add milk and soak saffron strands and set aside.
  • In other bowl add other ingredients and make a dough.
  • Refrigerate the dough for few mins.
  • Now dust the flour and roll out the dough.
  • Cut into desired shapes.
  • Line a baking tray with butter paper and place these cookies.
  • Pour the saffron milk all over the cookies and drain the excess milk.
  • Bake this in a preheated oven (OTG) at 180°C for 12-15 mins.
