Murukku #2 - With Leftover Rice



                                      

Ingredients:

Cooked Rice - 1 cup
Besan flour -1/4 cup
Rice flour - 1/2 cup
White sesame seeds - 1 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
Hing - 1/8 tsp
Salt, Oil - As reqd

Method:

  • Add the cooked rice in blender and blend it.
  • Transfer this to bowl.
  • Add in besan flour, rice flour and salt.
  • Add in sesame seeds, chilly powder and hing.
  • Mix well and make a soft dough.
  • Place the star achu in idiyappam maker.
  • Grease it with oil and fill in the dough.
  • Heat oil in pan and make murrukku.
