Ingredients:
Green Chilly - 8 -10
Gram dal - 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/8 tsp
Tamrind - small piece
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Hing - Little
Oil, Salt, Water - As reqd
Method:
Green Chilly - 8 -10
Gram dal - 1/4 tsp

Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Hing - Little
Oil, Salt, Water - As reqd
Method:
- Heat oil in pan and saute green chillies.
- Do this in a low flame.
- Add gram dal and saute.
- Transfer this to a bowl.
- Add turmeric powder, salt, tamrind.
- Add water and grind this to a paste.
- Now heat oil in pan and add mustard, cumin and urad dal.
- Once it splutters, add grinded paste and cook in low flame.
- Cook until oil oozes out and keep stirring.
- Finally add hing and cook for few seconds.
- Serve this with idli or dosa.
