Plain Idiyappam


Ingredients:

Idiyappam - As reqd
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds  - 1 tsp
Green Chilly - 2
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Cashewnuts - 6
Curry Leaves - a sprig
Oil - 2 tbsp

Method:
  • Take the steamed idiyappam and crumble it and set aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add mustard and cumin seeds.
  • Add in urad dal and curry leaves.
  • Also add cahsew and green chillies.
  • Cook in low flame.
  • Add crumbled idiyappam and give a toss.
  • Serve hot.
