Ulundhu Vadai #2

Ingredients:

  Urad Dhal - 1 1/4 cup
  Ginger - Small piece
  Green Chilly - 2
  Raw Rice - Less- than 1/2 tbsp
  Onion - 1 (fine chop)
  Curry Leaves - a sprig (fine chop)
  Salt, Oil, water - for As reqd

Method:
  •  Soak dhal, rice in water for an hour.
  •  Strain the water and add ginger, chilly and salt.
  •  Grind this to a paste.
  •  Add fine chopped onions and curry leaves and mix well.
  •  Heat oil in pan.
  • Wet your fingers and make vada shapes and fry it.
  •  Goes good with coconut chutney and sambar.
Note:
  • If batter is bit soggy, add a tsp of rice flour and mix it.
