Vanilla Swiss Roll Cake






Ingredients:

All purpose flour - 125 g
Powdered Sugar - 125 g
Egg - 3
Warm Milk - 1 tbsp
Vanilla Esc - 3/4 tsp

Pink Dots:
All purpose flour - 40 g
Sugar - 30 g (regular)
Unsalted butter - 20 g(softened)
Pink Food color - a drop

Method:

  • In a bowl add the ingredients  under "Pink dots".
  • Mix them well.
  • Transfer this to piping bag and cut its tip.
  • Grease a tray and line with butter paper.
  • Do grease that too.
  • Pipe dots or small patterns of your choice.
  • Dap it.
  • Freeze it till you make cake batter.
  • In other bowl add in eggs, sugar and esc and whisk well.
  • Whisk till foamy, it may take 6-9 mins.
  • Now gradually add in flour and fold well.
  • Finally add milk and mix it.
  • Now take the freezed baking tray.
  • Pour the batter in and spread it gently.
  • Bake this in a preheated oven (OTG) at 180 for 8-9 mins.
  • Now place a butter paper and dust it with powdered sugar.
  • Now prepare simple vanilla buttercream frosting and keep aside.
  • Now dust one more butter paper with powdred sugar and invert the cake.
  • The pattern should be on bottom side.
  • Trim the edges and roll it tight and set aside for few mins.
  • Now unroll it and apply frosting and roll it.
  • Set aside or refrigerate till you serve.
  • Decorate as you wish and serve.
