Pav Bhaji #2




Ingredients:
  
Onion - 2 (finely chopped)
Tomato - 3 (finely chopped)
Ginger garlic paste - 1 1/2 tbsp
Green chilly sauce - 1 tsp
Green capsicum - 1 (finely chopped)
Green peas - 1/4 cup
Cauliflower - 1/4 cup
Potato - 1/4 cup
Beetroot  puree - 3 tbsp
Butter - 2 tbsp
Lime - squeeze a quarter and keep
Coriander leaves - to garnish
Pav Bhaji Masala - 3 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Kahmiri Chilly powder - 1 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/4 tsp
Pav buns - As reqd 
Oil, Water, Salt - As reqd.

Method:
  • Boil the veggies(other than capsicum) and set aside.
  • Place beetroot(small piece) in separate bowl and boil it.
  • Mash the beetroot and strain the water and set aside.
  • Heat oil in pan and add onion and saute.
  • Then add ginger garlic paste and saute.
  • Add in spice powders and salt and mix well.
  • Cook in low flame.
  • Add in tomatoes and cook till it turns mushy.
  • Add in capsicum and saute.
  • Add in mashed veggies and mix well.
  • Add in beetroot water and 100 ml water and mix well.
  • Let it boil for few mins.
  • Add in fine chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
  • Finally add lime juice and turn off the range.
  • Serve hot with pav buns.
