Ingredients:
Onion - 1
Tomato - 3 (make puree)
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
Chilly powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Dried Kasuri methi -1 tsp
Fresh Cream - 1/4 cup
Salt, Water, Oil - As reqd
Coriander leaves - Fine chopped
For Tikka:
Paneer - 1 pack (cube and set aside)
Hung curd - 3 tbsp
Tandoori masala - 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice - 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
Chilly powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Dried kasuri methi leaves - Little (crush and add)
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Method:
- In a bowl add items under "for tikka" and mix well.
- Set this aside for an hour.
- Heat little oil in pan and roast these paneer pieces and set aside.
- Heat oil in pan and add onion and saute for a while.
- Add cumin powder, ginger garlic paste and saute for a while.
- Add tomato puree and little water and cook till gravy thickens a bit.
- Add masala powder, salt and mix well.
- Cook in low flame till raw smell goes.
- Add fresh cream, if gravy is too thick you can add little water.
- Now add paneer pieces and mix up.
- Add crushed methi leaves and then garnish with coriander leaves.
- This goes good with poori/chapathi
