Ingredients:
Raw Rice - 350 g ( 1 1/2 cup)
Boiled Rice (Saadham/cooked rice) - 1/2 cup
Salt, Oil, Water - As reqd
Method:
- In a bowl add raw rice and water.
- Let it soak for 4 hours.
- Strain water and add it to blender.
- Add very little water and add required salt.
- Blend this.
- Add 1/2 cup cooked rice.
- Blend this to a fine paste.
- The batter should be between dosa batter and idly batter consistency.
- Heat oil in pan and add a laddle of batter.
- Cook in low flame.
- It will puff up.
- Flip and cook for a minute.
- Refer video for the same.
- Serve hot with spicy gravy of your choice.
