Ingredients:
Vanjram fish - 4-5 pieces
For Masala:
Onion - 1 (fine chop)
Tomato - 1 (fine chop)
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder -1/4 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Pepper powder - 1 1/2 tsp
Salt,Oil - Little
Curry Leaves - Little
Coriander Leaves - Little
For Marinate:
Mango Pickle - 1 1/2 tbsp
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Pepper powder - 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Lime juice - 1 tsp
Oil - 2 tsp
Salt - As reqd
Method:
- Clean the fish and marinate it with item under "to marinate" for 30 mins.
- Heat oil in pan and grill(toast two sides) fishes and set aside.
- Heat little oil in pan and add curry leavescuonion and saute for a while.
- Then add ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes.
- Now add tomatoes and cook till it turns mushy.
- Add in spice powders(except pepper) and mix well and add salt.
- Add little water and then grilled fishes and mix well.
- Finally add pepper powder and mix well.
- Garnish and serve hot starter.
