Ingredients:
Konda Kadalai - 1 cup
Tomato - 3 (small)
Red Chilly powder -1 tsp
Cumin seeds powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Dry mango powder - 1/2 tsp
Fresh Cream - 1 tbsp
Salt, Oil, Water - As reqd
Method:
- Soak channa overnight, add salt and pressure cook for 6 whistles and set aside.
- Blend the tomatoes and make puree.
- Blend 3 tbsp of boiled channa and set aside.
- Heat oil in pan and add tomato puree.
- Cook till raw smell goes.
- Add in the spice powders and cook for few mins.
- Add boiled channa(with water) and blended channa too.
- Mix nicely and let it boil for few mins.
- Add fresh cream and garnish with coriander leaves.
- Goes good with chapati or poori.
