Ingredients:
Big Bajji Chilly - 3-4
Potato - 2
Kashmiri Chilly powder - 1 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - a pinch
Amchur powder - 1/2 tsp
Ginger paste - 1/4 tsp
Salt, Oil - As reqd
Bajji Batter:
Besan flour - 1 cup
Rice flour - 2 tbsp
Chilly powder - 3/4 tsp
Baking soda - a pinch
Salt, Water - As reqd
Method:
- Make a small slit on big green chillies holding the stem.
- Deseed them and set aside.
- Boil the potates and mash them.
- To this add spice powders and salt and mix well.
- Set this aside.
- In other bowl add the items under "Bajji Batter".
- Add water, such that the batter is not too thin.
- Now make a small ball of the potato masala.
- Stuff it in slit chillies and set aside.
- Dip these in batter and fry them in hot oil.
- Serve them hot.
Note:
We add salt in both batter and masala, so add accordingly.
