Ingredients:
Wheat flour - 110 g
Cocoa powder - 30 g
Brown sugar - 110 g
Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
Salt - a pinch
Oil - 60 ml
Curd - 120 ml
Hot water - 125 ml
Vanilla Esc - 1 tsp
Method:
- In a bowl add flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
- In other bowl add sugar, curd, oil and mix well.
- To this add esc and dry ingredients and mix well.
- Now the batter will be thick.
- Add the hot water and whisk well, to have a smooth batter.
- Grease a 5 inch pan and line the bottom with butter paper.
- Dust the pan with cocoa powder and invert and dap to remove excess.
- Now pour the batter to the pan.
- Bake this in a preheated oven (OTG) at 180 °C for 32-26 mins.
- Yields 6-8 pieces.
Note:
- I poured equal amount of batter in two 5 inch pans.
- You can bake the same in a single pan.
