Wheat flour - 125 g
Cocoa powder - 45 g
Brown sugar - 150 g + 2 tbsp
Baking soda - 3/4 tsp
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Salt - a pinch
Egg - 1
Curd - 1/2 cup
Oil - 60 ml
Boiling water - 120 ml
Vanilla Esc - 1 tsp
Method:
- In bowl take the hot water(boiling water).
- To this add cocoa and mix well and set aside to cool.
- In other bowl add flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
- Add in cooled cocoa mix and mix well.
- Add in egg and mix well.
- Add curd, esc and oil and whisk well.
- The batter should be smooth.
- Grease and dust the 7 inch pan.
- Line the bottom of pan with butter paper.
- Pour the batter in and dap it.
- Bake this in a preheated oven (OTG) at 180°C for 40-42 mins.
- Will yield 8-10 pieces.
