Nandu Kari Dosai

Ingredients:

Crab - 4 (boil and take the flesh alone)
Onion - 2 
Tomato - 2
Ghee - 20gms
Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - pinch
Dosa Batter - 1 cup
Egg - 1
Salt, Oil - As reqd

To Grind:
Pepper corns - 10gm
Cumin seeds - 1tsp
Fennel seeds - 1tsp
Coconut - 1tbsp (grated)
Cashew - 15gms
Curry leaves - 1 strand
Poppy Seeds - 1tsp

Method:


  • Add ghee to the pan and add items under "to grind" and saute.
  • Let it cool and make a paste.
  • Heat ghee in a pan and add finely chopped onion and saute.
  • Then add tomato and other powders one by one and saute.
  • Then add crab and saute it.
  • Add Salt and the grinded paste and saute.
  • Heat a tawa and make a thick dosa.
  • Beat an egg and add on top of it.
  • Then spread the nandu masala over it and sprinkle oil.
  • Turn it and cook for a min.
  • Hot Nandu Kari Dosai ready.
