Green Kurma


Ingredients:

Cashews - 5
Coconut  - 3 tbsp(grated)
Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
Poppy Seeds - 1 tsp
Green Chilly - 2
Ginger - small piece
Garlic - 3-4 pods
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Bay leaf - 1
Cloves - 2
Cinamon stick - small piece
Elachi - 1 or 2
Onion - 1
Tomato - 1
Coriander leaves - little
Brocoli, green peas - As reqd
Salt, oil - As reqd

Method:


  • Blend cashews, grated coconut, fennel seeds, poppy seeds, corriander leaves, green chilly, ginger and garlic to a paste.
  • Heat oil and add bay leaf, cloves, cinamon, elachi, finely chopped onion and saute.
  • Then add ginger garlic paste and finely chopped tomatoes. 
  • Saute for 2min then add the blended paste & mix. 
  • Now add cut brocolis and green peas.
  • Add little water & cook covered for 10 mins. 
  • Add salt and let it boil.
